Dr. Darren R. Cowl, DPM

Dr. Cowl was very helpful on my visits there and he answered all of my questions and was very thorough. He was able to take away the pain I have dealt with in my feet for over 5 years and I am so grateful for his help. Go see him if you have foot or ankle problems as he is a wealth of knowledge and will make you feel so much better.

I am not sure what others have said here but I had extremely positive experience with Dr. Cowl as he helped me with my feet when I had been to 3 other doctors who said they could do nothing for me. He is very knowledgeable and caring and was thorough in explaining what wrong and what could be done to allow my feet to heal to where I can now be active as I want to without having pain. He and his office are tops in my book!

Dr. Cowl was denigrating towards other providers of insoles, stating he was better because he could do in-house adjustments. What he didn't say was that each adjustment would cost an office visit fee ($130). It is not feasible to be expected to evaluate if an adjustment works right away by just walking around in the office for 20 seconds. I have spent more than $1,000 on insoles that still do not work for me. Even after I had paid for the insoles ($550), there was another fee just to pick them up and have Dr. Cowl put them in my shoes. I could have done that myself! Perhaps funds are needed for the aging office space, but I feel conned. In fact, I suspect he tampered with the last adjustment he made in order for another adjustment to be necessary. Either that or he is simply incompetent.
