Best Doctor I ever had. I was saddened when the business staff claimed Internal Medicine Clinic was no longer taking the type of Humana insurance offered by Ochsner after years as a patient. I think this was due to disagreement over billing, which I paid. It was difficult to continue driving to Hammond after moving, but Dr.Drummond's experience, caring, diagnostic ability made it worth it. Inability to pay cash for each visit made it impossible. I'll never know if Dr. Drummond approved my being pushed out of his practice. All other staff, nurses, Nurse practioner, those at reception, were excellent, receptive. Business office was polite. But they clearly wanted not to continue to deal w/ differences in co-pay issue w/ new Humana health insurance. I lost important relationship w/ great healthcare professional. Highly recommend as long as you have right insurance.

Dr Drummonds is a very good doctor. He takes time to listen & explain things. I never feel rushed. I would definitely recommend him. My only complaint is that he is so liked that it is hard to get an appt on the spot. If you are a regular patient and your next appt is sheduled on the day of visit then there is no problem, but if you get sick unexpectedly then its hard to get an appt as he is used booked up.
