I left crying ,not because of my pain but because of how that doctor made me feel like i was full of BULLSH*T and that my pain in my knee and ankle was all in my head.He dismissed me and made me feel like Trailer Trash

I left a terrible review up above and i want to correct it. Dr Herzog is a great surgeon and a great guy. I was going crazy when i left that negative review and totally took it out on the wrong person and for that i apologize. His after care could use some work but that does not mean he deserves the review i previously left for him. I am so sorry for that review dr herzog! I hope this will help and once again i am so sorry for taking my stuff out on you! Please foegive me!

I wrote a one star scathing review on Dr Herzog and i would like to apologize for my crazy behavior to him and his staff! I was so wrong to leave that review considering his caring and really awesome staff! Dr Herzog was never rude to me and In no way deserved that review! If anyone knows how i can take it down id appreciate the advice!

I tore my glutes off of my hipbone at work & I had a little pain & could hear a popping noise when sitting down. Presurgery I told him I really wanted to make sure that I would be normal. He reassured me with every conversation that I would be able to & he said I would go home that same day but the surgery took hours. I severe bleeding & severe pain & ended up staying 2 days. He Never came to see me while in the hospital. At the follow up he said he would never do one of those surgeries again & he did not examine me, his nurse changed my bandage. I had a lot of pain & bleeding for weeks. When I would let him know he did nothing. He stated that WK would make him refer me out & he seemed to not believe me or care. I had a second surgery with MB&J & it only took 1 hour with no bleeding & I went home immediately! However The extra problems created at the first surgery still linger, numbness in my toes, in my leg, pain to the touch, can't walk right & a hole where he stole my BURSA!!!!

Herzog was confrontational and aggressive in his comments and attitudes. I was appalled at his rude and unprofessional behavior when talking to a patient in pain ! I would never visit or recommend this person to anyone, ever, under any circumstances. WORST so called DOCTOR EVER.

I had hip replacement surgery 8 weeks ago. It was like a miracle. Going into my first appointment I was skeptical. Dr. Herzog answered all of my many detailed pre-op questions and I left having complete confidence in his ability as a surgeon. At my post-op appointment, he took the time to help me solve my discomforts (mainly sleeping) in a very caring manner. I am so happy with my new hip and the speedy recovery. I would recommend Dr. Herzog to everyone.

He seemed bored and when I asked a question, he said he couldn't deal with all my aches and pains. Not interested if you don't need surgery

Terrible attitude & bedside manner . Doesn't listen & dr notes are a complete opposite of how I was actually treated in the office. Had an MRI and he never called or got me rescheduled to review the findings. He's been at several clinics and is not very old. I am starting to think that my experience is why he keeps having to relocate ??

Dr. Herzog has a great caring communication style, knows the clinical practice guidelines and was quick at pinpoint my problem. His injection was totally painless, and I was pleasantly surprised and that was not the case with other doctors.

Dr. Darren Herzog is the first surgeon I have spoken to who actually listens. His bedside manner, as well as his surgical skills, are excellent. It's been just a few days since he performed my hip surgery and I am now walking around with ease after a year of pain due, in part, to an earlier hip surgery done by another physician. I have complete faith in Dr. Herzog and would highly recommend him to family and friends.
