Dr Killen has been my primary physician for over 10 years. He is caring and friendly, never judgmental. I never feel rushed and always feel as though I have his full attention during visits.

Dr. Killen has been great doctor for me and has been a big help with my husband as he descends into dementia. The office staff is very friendly and helpful, and this is the shortest wait time I've ever experienced in any Doctor's office.

I was looking for a dr. that I could feel comfortable with and who would be a no nonsense Dr., getting right to the issue and finding a solution. Over the past several years, that is just what I got. I have had some interesting health issues, and in every case, Dr. Killen was able to find a solution, sometimes with meds, sometimes by referring me on to a specialist. He is not afraid to do that, which I appreciate. He is very personable, relaxed, and makes me feel like I am the only patient he has. He gives the time needed. If you are looking for a Dr., Dr. Killen might be a good choice for you. He was for me.

Every visit is the same. Sign in, immediately taken back by the nurse for vitals, then to the exam room. She drops me off, the Doc immediately comes in. He is very thorough and pleasant.

Brookside Family Medicine has been my primary care home for over 10 years now, Dr. Killen is without a doubt one of the best GP Dr's in KC from a clinical stand point, but beyond that a general good human being.
