Dr. Darren Orbach, MD, PhD

Dr. Darren B. Orbach, MD, PhD, is Chief of Neurointerventional Radiology at Boston Children’s Hospital and Co-Director of the Cerebrovascular Surgery and Interventions Center, where he also holds the Sage Schermerhorn Chair in Image-Guided Therapy. An Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, he specializes in pediatric neurointerventional radiology, treating complex vascular conditions of the brain and spine, including arteriovenous malformations and vein of Galen malformations.
Dr. Orbach earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and completed an MD-PhD program through Cornell University Medical College and Rockefeller University. He trained in neurology, radiology, and neuroradiology, followed by advanced fellowship training in neurointerventional radiology at New York University Medical Center.
His work integrates cutting-edge imaging and minimally invasive therapies, and he has helped build one of the largest and most comprehensive …pediatric neurointerventional programs in the world.
