Very knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. Listens and includes you in treatment decisions. Also, he was available when I felt in crisis. Dr Rothschild is an exceptional psychiatrist.

One word comes to mind when I think of Dr. Rothschild - thorough. I have been suffering from depression and addiction for years and Dr. Rothschild specializes in both. Very comprehensive initial meeting - over 2hours gathering background information and your concerns. Finds the right medication for you. Discusses all potential side effects and answers all questions. Makes great recommendations of things that could help outside of the medication. The office manager, Naomi is great.

I came to Dr Rothschild incapacitated by depression, something I've dealt with always but has become worse over time. It would alternate with more than a bit of overactive off-putting (though productive) mania. This time it was amplified by a life changing medical problem. Things would regularly get to some kind of crisis and I'd go to a psychiatrist or psychologist, they'd put me on something, and I'd wind up again in crisis, and again conclude their profession was well intended but useless. Another crisis and again someone literally made the appointment to see Dr Rothschild and brought me to the office. I got a diagnosis no one had told me before. I found out 10 years of going misdiagnosed was not uncommon, so: excellent. The diagnosis lead to trying meds. Trying meds lead to a combination that has put a floor under the depression and dampers on cycling up and down. Thanks :)

Dr. Rothschild is efficient, incisive, and flexible. Rather than dictating care he involves you in the process. He takes as much time and offers as much detail as you need. Everyone is courteous and professional and the environment is very comfortable and secure. I would highly recommend Dr. Rothschild.

He is a man that takes his duty to care for others very seriously. He is extremely educated in all medications pertaining to his field and others. He has an obvious passion for helping his patients to live a full and complete life. He listens, asks questions and makes sure you are receiving the best treatment. He doesn't just throw a "fix" at you and assume it will be all you need. He makes sure you are adequately treated and maintained for your particular diagnosis. He listens when you speak, remembers all that you discuss and constantly refers to prior visits and uses them as a measure against your current success. He isn't satisfied with "just ok" results, he really cares that you feel your best. I would reccommend him to anyone!!
