Dr. Darren Lee Takeuchi, MD

Super rude and no personality. Saw him for a total of 3 minutes before he ran off. Needs to work on his attitude problem

Just wanted me to leave; literally ran out the door and had zero empathy.

He really takes the time to listen to you and explain everything. He takes more time with you than most doctors that I have seen.

Dr. Takeuchi is my favorite doctor. I have cancer so I have seen many doctors in my life. He is very thorough, compassionate and caring.

I have a hard time believing the other reviews as I think Dr. Takeuchi is incredible and very caring. He made a diagnosis that my doctor could not after seeing my primary doctor 3 times. I could not afford the medicine that I needed or treatments so Dr. Takeuchi paid for it himself with his own credit card. I think the other person who reviewed him and said had the nurse come into the room has major psych issues. It seems that the doctor rightly required a witness to be present in the room as no doubt she had been very argumentative. I would like Dr. Takeuchi to become my primary doctor but he says he cannot since he does emergency room medicine. It upsets me to read the other reviews. I think only people that are mad and believe the doctor is bad only because they just did not get there way.

This is the worst doctor you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. He is rude, disconnected and cocky. He does not have a bed side matter, or should I say it's a bad one. Please, if you neeed to see someone, do not see this goys, he is a joke.

I went to see him last night for flu-like symptoms with high fever. The wait was long. When he came in the room, he pushed the chair furthest away from where I seated to talk to me since i think he was worry that I could have the swine flu. He ordered a swine flu test, which came back negative, then he talked to me as usual like other doctors would while completing his tasks. He did not look friendly nor smile but I can say that he gave me the right drugs for bronchitis/asthma and knew to combine a corticosteroid with antibiotic just incase i got pneumonia. I google the drugs prior to taking them :). Not a bad doctor... Just think that it is better if he can smile to calm people down, introduces his name and spends a little more time with patients. Is that typical to keep the face serious since his last name from Japan?
