Dr was late to consult (40 min) and could not answer any questions I had regarding gallbladder surgery. Every answer started with "Thats a good question" but he never gave a dierct answer. He handed me a pamphlet and told me he hoped that would answer my questions. Do not recommend.

I had an emergency appendectomy and feel very fortunate Dr Fernandes was on call that day.

Dr. Fernandes refused treatment for the sole reason of seeing another doctor prior to Fernandes.

I am really impressed with Dr Fernandes, He told me what to expect from the operation and everything he said was true. His staff and the medical center staff were all very good. His bedside manner was very good.

rThree years ago he saved my life. While the other doctors wanted to wait until my blood sugar levels were down. He insisted on taking care of me immediately. The result was not only saving my life but limiting the damage from the infection. Had he waited I would have had severe damage to vital organs. Since then he has taken care of my colonscopy needs. I recommend him often to people at my church, my college and work place. I know of several satisfied patients who think he is the best.
