Dr. Darryl Alonza Hamilton, MD

HE HAS SAVED MY MOM SO MANY TIMES . THE BEST DOCTOR OUT THERE AND WONDERFUL PERSON.

Three members of my household use Dr. Hamilton. I've only seen him myself a few times but he's always thorough, asks lots of questions and takes plenty of time answering questions. He's also way more accessible than my other doctors, easy to reach on the phone and always patient, courteous and responsive to any concerns and questions.

This doctor is more concerned with his staff (or rater at least one of his staff) than a patient. His rmployee who was supposed to be monitoring my protime (due to my main aorta valve being replaced) let my protime get extremely high and did not notify me. It got even higher and I only found out through an emergency room visit for another matter when they did a blood test. I informed Dr. Hamilton of this atrocity and he took the side of his employee. His employee was rude, screamed at me on the phone and did not tell me that my protime was at an extremely high number. This is very dangerous and I was not notified. I notified Dr. Hamilton and his reply was for me to stop bothering his staff. I asked him if he condoned this behavior (twice) and he again, said don't bother his staff. He said she was an extension of him. What a shame! I had to tellhim that I could no longere have him as my cardiologist as I could no longer trust him. He was more concerned with your employees… feelings than he was with my health. I have had two (2) open heart surgeries and have a host of other problems, yet he's concerned with the employee. Not good.
