Dr. Darryl Dermot Robinson

I’ve been seeing Dr. Robinson for a little over 15 yrs. He and his PA Lee, is doing everything they can to alleviate my chronic pain. They have a very good bedside manner. They don’t rush thru my appointment. They take their time discussing different procedures or medications that may help. Thank you Dr. Robinson and Lee!! Y’all are the best!! ??

I have been using Doctor Darryl Robinson for several years for my pain management on my back, neck & knees. After nine spine surgeries on both my back and neck I have found that his Radio Frequency Ablation Procedures are the Only thing that re-leaves the pain for long periods of time. This I appreciate because it allows me to have a semi-normal life and activities without addictive medications. I Highly Recommend Doctor Robinson to anyone who has serious pain management problems and want to stay away from addictive medications.

I've only seen him once but he seems to be a very compassionate person. I'm waiting for a call back about an injection in my back. We will se how that goes...

I’ve been under Dr. Robinson’s care for 4 years to treat my back Acute Lumbar neuropathy. Approximately about 6 months while discussing options to get off the opioids with one of his PA, I decided to try the CBD oil.in an attempt to get off opioids. Today, I had my 30 day appointment. The PA informed me that my urine test came back positive for THC. She informed me that some patients who are taking CBD are testing positive for THC because the CBD is contaminated. I was in shock. She proceeded to tell me that Dr. Robinson’s rules are if there’s any trace of CBD in the urine, they would not prescribe opioids. I was shocked! I feel disposed off. After 4 years your going to dump me for CBD oil that was contaminated. I have been dumped with no resources. What im I supposed to do? UNBELIEVABLE!

After the first of three procedures I was told to expect pain and discomfort for the next few days, adding to the severe pain I was already experiencing. I requested a Rx for pain med to mitigate the anticipated temporary increase in pain. I was told to wait until "next week and discuss it with the doctor". Huh?! The "doctor" (Robinson) was no more than ten feet away from where the staffer and I stood! I challenged her absurd response when another staffer said to me, "You have my direct number. Call me if you need anything." The next a.m. I was at an unbearable pain level: I couldn't bend my knee, ice packs didn't help me, and over the night I had consumed over 6,500 mg of acetaminophen with absolutely no relief. I was racked with intense pain and was angry, crazy and despondent with it all. I called the direct number I was given and pleaded with the voice on the other end for pain relief. The staffer with whom I spoke said the nurse will be notified since the staff member… wasn't "a medical person". I was also told that, "I have a bad sinus headache and I have to leave". Yup, those headaches can be real bastards, alright. The phone call ended and I began to wait for the nurse to phone me. And I waited. And I waited a bit more. And I waited.... I'm still waiting. I've yet to get a call from anyone from Robinson's office to date -- over one week later. NOT ONE CALL to follow-up and assess my situation. The post-procedure checklist I was given instructs the patient to notify the staff of any acute changes in condition. I covered that quite well, but it's obvious that it made no difference. MY OPINION: The lack of care, concern, compassion or even a basic interest by the medical and nursing staff at this office smacks of MEDICAL SADISM AT ITS BEST ... or PATIENT ABANDONMENT ... at ITS best! I'll let you decide. I cancelled the two remaining procedures. I'm still waiting for that call from the nurse. I'm still a patient, after all.

I was referred to Dr. Robinson by another doctor and I am totally happy that I went to see him. I had the injections and ablations on my neck and I feel so much better. I enjoy speaking to him and his staff every time I go to see them. I want to thank the entire team for taking care of me. Professional and caring. I fell that he has my best interest and is taking care of me and my injury.

Dr. Robertson was very approachable and open with answers to my questions. He seemed to have a thriving practice by the way things looked in the waiting room and treatment rooms, and yet he would take his time and make sure his patients, one by one, felt comfortable and cared for. Also, when it was time for my treatment, the way that he and his assistants had things set up was something that I recognized from the military. They used checklists and chanllenge and response techniques. These techniques are excellent for identifying possible mistakes and short-comings BEFORE they happen. In my opinion this demonstrates the ultimate in professionalism and patient care.

I always had to wait way too long to be seen. They made me feel like some kind of criminal when it came to medications...even with a real injury with imagery to back it up. Performed a "shot in the dark" injection procedure with no anesthetic or any type of pain buffer... It was excruciating, and had no positive result. I changed physicians soon after that, and things have been much better.

i suffered pain from my neck ,shoulder and left arm for several months and finally went to a different pain doctor set by my primary doctor and was told that he would do up to 2 injections into my neck but probably not do me any good and would then require surgery.that very morning i saw Dr. Robinsons tv commercial before my appointment with pain specialist which was very negative , I visited Dr. Robinsons very hepful website and felt he offered more possability for relief without surgery.the first injection gave me aweek of relief. the second injection did the trick and i have been pain free for close to ayear now.i highly recommened Dr. Robinson and his staff.
