He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during surgery. Talked to me during the whole thing. Personable, very open about the procedure and steps and very thorough. I appreciate the service.

Some years back about 5or6 I had a groan hernia operation performed by Dr Tookes. Although it has been fixed, I had bad recovery especially the first two or three weeks. Every time I tried to get off couch, I had a very bad burning in my scrotum. I also would have that same burning when doing certain activities, After the first week I needed more pain meds, and they actually made me come in person to pick them up, instead of my wife, even though I was in pain! After about a mont I came in and he administered some kind of shot in my groan that did not help the pain,. To this day I still have days of groan pain and some days I don’t. Had a scan recently and results were acceptable by Kaiser standards. Any text I get done now comes with an result of Executable, I use to see detailed reports that explained some things.

My experience with Dr. Tookes, he was very attentive to my concerns, I appreciate him taking the time to explain to me and my husband all the details, he made us feel very comfortable in going into surgery.

Seemed genuinely concerned with my husbands pain and took the time to show us and explain the test results.

My overall experience was very pleasant. The staff was professional, the facility was clean, Dr. Tookes was very compassionate, understanding, and put me at ease. His bed side manner allowed me to have trust in him and his abilities to provide quality care.
