Dr. Darwin Jason Chan, MD

My aunt was injured at work when a large pile of linin fell from a high shelf onto her and injured her shoulder. She was out of work for 6 months and was originally treated by another doctor. When she was ready to be evaluated for work by insurance company doctor chan did the evaluation and mistakenly wrote a date on paperwork month earlier. My aunt returned to his office to have the date corrected and he was unwilling to make the change. Dr Chan then said she is too old to work anyway and should just ask her kids for money. He added that he was not going to help her and she should stop working in hotel service industry and find a desk job if she didn't have kids. She was offended and very saddened. The insurance company denied her injury and cut her disability income Because of the wrong date dr chan listed as completely recovered and ready to return to work. Though she still has pain and doscfort and loss o motion due to the injury. I would suggest u avoid this doctor.
