Dr. Daryl W Reese, MD

I was taken to the ER in Richardson Medical for an attack of what turned out to be pancreatitis. Dr Reese looked at my bloodwork, gave me an iv to replenish fluids within a couple of hours and told me to follow up with clear fluids for a week. No issues there. He discharged me within 3 hrs and sent me home to followup with a GI doc after he showed me my lipase was almost 3500 and said I had pancreatitis. I followed his instructions and had a GI appt scheduled for the next week at first opportunith, but had another attack and ended up at a bigger ER and hospital. They checked my lipase levels at 700 and immediately admitted me, doing a full evaluation of tests after seeing my 700 level of lipase was too high. After a week in the bigger hospital, I'be now been released and am on an antibiotic foe enteritis, which was discovered along with the pancreatitis. My lipase is now 6. The negligence Dr Reese showed in not doing a full eval and admission to a hospital with lipase levels of… 3500 was dangerous and baffling to me, but also to every doctor in the hospital as well as my primary physician.
