This Doctor and Staff is wonderful. The new x-raynurse made me feel at ease, I was very nervous when I came to see them. Excellent care, excellent bedside manner, excellent service.

If you're looking for a doctor who is all about his patient's satisfaction, you will definitely love Dr. Bakari. He listens to his patient's concerns, answers any question, and make sure they leave with an understanding. I have been visiting Dr. Bakari for quite some time now and I couldn't be more happier about the service he and his staff provides. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bakari's office to anyone.

This guy is an offense to the medical field! He is unprofessional, lacks any degree of compassion as a doctor who CHOSE to go into a specialty that focuses on minimizing the suffering of those who need help & often are hopeless & on the brink many times of giving up. It's sad that in 2015 there are "doctors" who seemingly went to medical school for the money instead of truly wanting to help sick people & minimize human suffering. I have so many pain related health issues, some that could ultimately end my life. He disregarded YEARS of medical diagnoses and sent me through senseless testing to overbill my insurance. Dr. Bakari, don't treat your patients like criminals or drug seekers until they give you a reason. Every individual knows their own body & if they say they are hurting, trust them. Yes there are people who take advantage of the system, but don't penalize everyone who walks in your office with suspicion, because reversed, you could be walking in the shoes of the patients you… mistreat whose daily lives are filled with suffering & hopelessness. What works for one, doesn't for others. It's suppose to be a relationship (professional) that you build with those who help you pay your bills, not contention. It's only by God's grace that you are not unhealthy. Folks look elsewhere... There are too many complaints on this guy & everyone can't be lying..

I love the way Dr. Bakari follows up with you,.. with a personal call from him. It made me feel like he truly cared about what was going on with me.

The office staff is very unprofessional. The office needs several updates. It is very hot in the office and has fans in the rooms while rap music is being played through out.

First, I'd like to comment to that idiot Velma that left the review saying for Dr. Bakari to pray for his haters. If you're not a good doctor, you're not a good doctor. It has nothing to do with whether or not People like Dr. Bakari personally, which I don't. That's beside the point. I went to Dr. Bakari for about six months. The wait times are always extremely long and hour plus each time. Then you have to go into the back and wait another 45 minutes to an hour. My last and final appointment was at 10 AM the doctor did not even show up to the office until after 12:30 PM.this is not the first time that he was over two hours late to an appointment I had scheduled. Yet, one time during the brief six months I was there I got there 15 minutes late after driving an hour. I even called ahead to the secretary and let her know that I was going to be about 20 minutes late and she said that was fine to come own. So you can imagine my frustration when I arrived and I was told that I would have to… reschedule and I would not be able to see the doctor. After saying that I had called to let them know I would be running late and was told it was okay the only thing the uneducated staff said to me was I'm not sure who you spoke with. I let that go. The very next appointment I had the dr. came into the room and proceeded to flirt with me which I found extremely offensive. I don't like him or his tight pants. He is extremely unprofessional, rude, dismissive, impatient, etc. etc. if you want a doctor that is genuinely concerned with your health and well-being and has professional & courteous bedside manner I would advise to not go to Life orthopedic and spine Center. But if you want a doctor that borderline sexually harassed you makes you uncomfortable and a staff that is rude and inconsiderate of your time then by all means suit yourself. Hey maybe if you flirt with him he might actually act like he cares about your health.

Dr. Bakari is indeed the WORST "doctor" I have ever been referred to. I agree & understand the poor reviews & complaints regarding his arrogance & unprofessionalism. I & my husband were mortified first by the nastiness of his office. I was made to take uneccesary x-rays despite having a recent CT scan & MRI. The x-Ray table looked like an ironing board & the young lady untrained. Dr. Bakari did not seem at all interested in my health conditions & was insulting, dismissive & rude. I contacted my referring physician & told her of this experience. She stated that 2 other patients also contacted her with similar complaints and vowed to refer no more of her patients. As I was leaving, the office staff was rude as well. I never write bad medical reviews out of spite & this is simply to warn those prospective patients to seek pain care elsewhere. Prior to me, others stated similar things many years prior. He has been "practicing" a short time & if this is what he has to offer in 5/6 years… since he began I'm scared to see the progression of his awfulness. My doc referred me to a new pain management doctor in Atlanta & next week I will see him. Finally, the same girl who did the x-Ray did my EKG & other unnecessary tests & I intend to call my insurance company to report him!! Stay away! He's better training snakes than caring for those in pain!!!
