Treated me for 3 years for bipolar. Misdiagnosed when I have ADHD. Wrong meds. I asked him how he came up with Bipolar and he said you told me I was depressed. There was no evaluation just a brief 15 min historyI I would follow up with him every 3 months for 5 mins so he could continue refilling the meds. I have a solid Counselor the past 3 months that could tell I have the symptoms of ADHD by my history and have had a 3 hour evaluation proving this-not bipd it with some Doctors that will speolar. I am now paying out of pocket to see a Doctor out of town either in Santa Barbara or Los Angles. The quality of care in Bakersfield is very poor re: Doctors. I do not want the wrong meds in my body by Doctors who spend 10 mins with me and come up with their misdiagnosis. Better to spend the money out of pocket if one can afford it. Spend an hour evaluation with you and follow ups at 30 mins. No rush.This is a travesty that patients are getting treated poorly and given wrong meds that can… cause more harm than good.
