Dr. Datinder Bir Singh Deo, MD

Dr Deo, is one of the best doctors in the area. I first met him in the hospital, where I had sepsis and needed to be on dialysis. He designed a plan for me and helped me get off dialysis. I still have bad kidney disease , but he has been able to keep me of dialysis for years now . He is a empathetic man and spends as much time as I need with him in office . Wonderful bedside manner . I have been to several doctors , but I like him the best. He really cares about his patients

My family Dr referred me to Deo several years ago. Didn’t like him from the beginning. Bedside manner is horrible. He talks to the patient like its their fault they have kidney disease then tells you how long until you’ll be on dialysis. He frightens you, doesn’t give you guidelines about what steps to take to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible. Went to him several years before he even told me I should be on a low sodium diet ! Why didnt he mention that from the beginning ? Tried once to cancel an appointment so I could call and reschedule at a later date. His staff informed me you aren’t “allowed” to cancel. You have to make another appointment immediately. Thankfully I’ve found another kidney specialist in another town that I like much better.

Took my dad after primary recommended waited for a month for appointment. He recommended seeing every six months but her condition has not improved Waste of our copayment

seen by his nurse practitioner,he hardly spent much time dealing with my issues advised dialysis which scared me and therefore i looked elsewhere. Thankfully doing well so far

wonderful bedside manner. Great personality. Listens to patients. Really helps me with dialysis. SUPER.
