Dr. Dattatreya Sambare, MD

referred by the hospital ER as we are new to the area; was diagnosed at the hospital with MRSA; brought records with and gave to the doctor who first wanted to express the infection with his bare hands; when I complained he grudgingly put on gloves. He then continued the basic antibiotics given at the ER. 20 minutes later, the hospital pharmacy called and asked if i followed up with a doc. When told that I had, and that he continued the Cepholxin, the pharmacist was upset and stated that she would have the ER doc write a script for a more powerful antibiotic. When I called the dos office to complain, he grudgingly prescribed something else. I never picked up his script because at this point I couldn't trust him. I wouldn't bring my dog there!

Dr. Sambare's a very good Dr. but he's an old doctor who will try to do the best for his patients as he sees fit but he doesn't seem knowledgeable about current diseases and illnesses. I had to switch to a university doctor who wants to cure you not treat you and as a result I think my best years are behind me now. I love you Dr. Sambare

He is very friendly and Helpful

Doctor repeatedly showed up to the office 30 minutes after scheduled appointment. Prescribed 3 medications, took 10 days for one prescription to be sent to the pharmacy. After 8 phone calls, the other two medications never were sent to the pharmacy and I gave up trying and switched doctors

He was so kind and intelligent that the entire visit visit left me wondering why I'd ever gone to someone else. He's on staff at multiple hospitals and has a fee locations to choose from. Takes time and actually shows care for his patients. Truly a great person and a great doctor. One of a kind.
