David M. Abdehou, MD, primarily treats geriatric patients at Willis-Knighton's Internal Medicine Associates at WK Pierremont Health Center in Shreveport. I really like Dr. Abdahou. He is very caring and kind. I have been seeing him for years and never had anything negative to say about him. He has encouraged me to take better care of myself and been my cheerleader at times. He has scolded me a few times, but I needed it. ð???

We took my 79 year old mother to see Dr. Abdehou and he was just wonderful. So many doctors today have the knowledge, but absolutely no respect for the patient. This goes double if the patient is elderly. Dr. Abdehou showed her so much kindness and respect. He spoke directly to her and answered all her questions. She was so surprised by his treatment of her that she just broke down and cried right there in the office. She was admitted in the hospital for a couple of days. All her test results were explained to her by Dr. Abdehou. He explained to her the way he would treat her and the reasons for each medication. When she left there she had a complete knowledge of what was wrong and how long treatment would take to fix it. I love this doctor so much that I and my husband are planning to change to him. Every doctor should practice medicine in this way. However, Dr. David Abdehou is a rare find.

Dr. Abdehou is one of the most caring physicians that I have had. He always has time to talk to me about things in general which makes it very easy to talk to him about any medical problem.

The visit was very helpful. His nurse, Denise seemed very knowledge and very eager to help in answering any questions I had. She scheduled all my diagnostic test in a timely fashion. Dr. Abdehou was very polite when he entered my room. Reviewed my history and took time to ask about my needs and directed me into a positive direction. My lab results were called to me in a reasonable time as well. Overall I would say the visit was a positive one.
