Dr.Abrutyn is by far the best surgeon you can hope for. Dr abrutyn repaired my labrum and bicep tendon. 100 percent at 53 I just underwent quad tendon repair due to injury. I was diagnosed with frozen in both shoulders. After over 9 months of physical therapy and severe impact to my day to day life, I decided to pursue treatment from an Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Abrutyn always described in detail what was going on, answered all my questions. 2 other doctors were unsure what was going on with my knee and what the best course of action was, but Dr. Abrutyn knew that my meniscus was off the bone right away and that they only way to fix it was surgery. I met with Dr. Abrutyn for a second opinion for pain and swelling in my knee. I explained how the first doctor aspirated my knee and gave me a cortisone shot without allowing the numbing medication to take effect which caused much pain and discomfort. He assured me that I would have a much different experience with him. Dr. Abrutyn is true to his word! I had a lot of pain going up and down stairs and could walk only a short distance. Dr. Abrutyn reviewed the MRI that was ordered by the first doctor which showed arthritis, two meniscus tears and a baker’s cyst. I decided to try the gel injection which provided relief but only temporarily. After several visits back to his office and X-rays of both knees he was upfront and informed me that I would benefit from a total knee replacement. We never discussed surgery during prior visits, therefore, I wasn’t prepared for this news. After reviewing my options and giving it much thought I decided to go through with it. It’s been 3… months since my surgery and timing couldn’t be more perfect. I’m back to gardening and caring for my koi pond and most importantly back to performing daily activities without pain. Dr. Abrutyn has given me my life back and I’m truly grateful. In addition to being a great surgeon, he has a wonderful bedside manner and takes time to answer your questions and concerns without feeling rushed. The office staff are very personable as well. I would recommend Dr. Abrutyn to family and friends.

I highly recommend Dr. Abrutyn for any knee issues you may have. I was 39 when I needed a total knee replacement. Because of my age and past knee surgeries Dr. Abrutyn explained all of my pros and cons before surgery. Just 3 months after surgery, I'm back to doing physical activities with Zero pain and all of my range and motion due to Dr. Abrutyn. Dr. Abrutyn gave me a new outlook on life. I came to Dr Abrutyn for pain in left shoulder that would wake you up in the middle of the night. I mean I had constant pain. My first visit to his office he stated i would take care of you. Well on Jan 9th this year I had my surgery I feel like a new person. I can't thank Dr Abrutyn enough.
