Dr. David Alemar

Dr. Alemar was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and is the oldest of three children.  He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico, and it is also there where he received his degree in Dentistry.  Dr. Alemar has completed graduate education in Orthodontics, and has completed a variety of continuing education training.  He is a certified provider Invisalign Technology, and Zoom Whitening.  Dr. Alemar has professional memberships with The United States Dental Institute, The Academy of General Dentistry, and The Augusta Dental Society.
Dr. Alemar practiced for several years in Puerto Rico, and in the Atlanta Metro area before settling in the Augusta area.  Dr Alemar has practiced in Augusta for approximately ten years; it was then, when he was presented with the opportunity to open his own practice.  In 2002, Dr. Hill, a well-known dentist in the area, retired and sold his practice to Dr. Alemar.  Dr Hill was confident that his patients would receive …excellent care under Dr. Alemar, and this has certainly been the case.
Dr. Alemar is dedicated to taking care of the dental health of families in the area with as high quality of care and attention to patient’s comfort as his main concerns, because he believes that these two elements are what matter most to patients.  Dr. Alemar provides patients with flexibility by filing claims with several dental insurances. This allows our patients to utilize their dental insurance benefits to its fullest and lowers out-of-pocket expenses.  Dr. Alemar also accepts Care Credit to assist patients in the financial aspect of their treatments.
