If he can’t prescribe a medication, he will simply imply that your symptoms aren’t valid and you’re essentially crazy. I’ve had severe symptoms for years which I outlined for the doctor and finally got an answer that I had an auto immune disease which runs in my family and are directly linked to my symptoms (as I’ve seen in my family members and found in my own research). He refused to even call me back, asked his nurse to read me his notes which stated there was no way I was having symptoms, very mild disease, come back in a year. I was blown away. Don’t go here if you actually want someone to help you feel better. Save your money and time.

Doctor Alaster is the mot arogane Doctor I've ever met. Laura and I where working on a medical Diabetic plan for my daughter who lives in Assisted Living Facility. She has lived there for five years and considers the other residents family. Laura anb I need a review and approval to submit to the facility's. Doctor Zwart was not available and has allways been kind understanding and most important professional. Doctor Alaster walked to the room did not introduce himself and Informed I needed to move my daughter to a different Facility. Obviously has has no idea how hard that is, not an opinion. He else decide to educate me on Diabetes he has 39yrs and 1000 of patience. Not necessary at all. I have 42yrsyears experience taken care of my daughter.I did not not a lectur on Diabetes. Laura and finalized the Plan and the facility's approved. If you are needing expert caring help see Laura. Doctor Alaster needs to retire. Ron Thames

overall experience is highly satisfactory-

I found Dr. Alster to be knowledgeable, efficient, capable and compassionate. I was there for an uncomfortable procedure. He explained each step, kept talking to me throughout each step, and repeatedly asked me if I was OK. I felt I was in competent hands. As for his staff...I only dealt with one this time. I decided to start with a big smile and it did get a better reaction from the staff member, although he still could use some practice in verbal politeness - enthusiasm, even. Wait time was long - 50 minutes past my appt. time. I was getting ready to leave (on principle) when I was called.

Very nice staff and very nice Doctor who actually listens to female patient and pays attention to detail when it comes to your blood work results and what the patient says is wrong on each visist. I want to say thankyou

I find it difficult to get prescription renewals and other services from his staff. They seem confused and in my opinion rather incompetent.
