elsewhere. Sons neurologist sent him to see him for skin biopsy for scerolderma. He was rude and told him had rosacea. Altman refused to do anything. Altman delayed my son's diagnosis by 3 years. If you don't need Botox, and you need a real medical doctor, go someplace else.

Dr. Altman is an outstanding physician for rare skin disorders. 15 years ago he diagnosed my rare type of lupus by site (confirmed through follow up biopsy) and have continued under his care. Even my lupus specialist was unfamiliar! I cannot speak regarding general dermatology, but for anything rare or atypical, he is brilliant. I have referred several people for eval and treatment when other doctors have not been able to diagnose their condition. There has been iccaisiinal where wait time has been 30-60 minutes, but it's not the norm. Regardless, when with him, he listens, researchers and opines. Never rushes and answer questions.

I have seen him a few times now and each time he has been understanding and explains everything.

Dr Altman has been my dermatologist for more than a decade and I recommend him to friends and family regularly. He is incredibly bright, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Altman has performed little things as well as a major procedure and I experienced no pain or discomfort whatsoever. Highly recommend.

My visit to the office wasn't as memorable as I would have liked. It took over an hour to be seen for an 5 min visit with Dr. Altman. I would have to suggest a better bedside manner when dealing with patients. It was like he had very little patience...rushing through the visit so that he could see others. Patient care should be individualized, empathetic to their needs. On my way out i overheard staff members at the desk talking about a patient they were upset about coming back then directly after called him to the desk for updates. Very unprofessional seesee others.

Dr. Altman removed 4 moles for me, three on my face. There was absolutely no scarring. Having had several moles removed in the past, I usually scar very severely. He is the only doctor I would now go to. His technique is quite different from other dermatologists and plastic surgeon's I have experienced. It is very straightforward, painless, complete and left no scar. His office, particularly for the great number of patients it handles, is extremely prompt. I have had 5 visits, I have waited approximately 5-10 minutes each time. His administrative and nursing staff is extraordinarily efficient. He is very skilled and very professional.

Dr. David Altman is excellent! I have seen him three times and four times with my children under 10. Excellent personal skills. The only complaint I have is the extra long wait time for the appointments.

He's fantastic. He completely cleared up my skin problem within two weeks. Another doctor did not clear it up even after three months.
