Dr. David Armanek completely botched a simple bunion removal. The bone popped out of place on the first surgery so he went back in to do a revision. The second surgery turned out even worse my toes crossed and I was experiencing excruciating pain and I went back to him on several occasions trying to figure out why I was in so much pain. One day I was driving on the highway and my toes were completely crossed and locked up so I had to go to the ER. After an exam and X-rays I found out that my big toe was fractured something he had never informed me of after a recent MRI and X-rays. The ER doctor told me that I should get a second opinion. I went to Feet for Life and as soon as the doctor saw my X-rays he told me that I needed to contact an attorney immediately if I did not already have one because I had developed vascular necrosis and it had cut off the blood supply to my Big toe which made the bone die. I was referred to another podiatrist at Mid West Podiatry for yet another revision… surgery that didn't work because the bone graph didn't take. So I had to undergo another bone graph that did not look too promising either.
