Dr. David Michael Anderson, MD

I have never seen Dr. David M Anderson II so this review is strictly about his practice, Commonwealth Pain Associates. Dr. Anderson used poor judgement and allowed my doctor, James Jackson Jr. to be part of his practice. Commonwealth must pack in 8 patients per hour as they never spent more than five minutes with me and my prescriptions were typed up days in advance so I guess they knew in advance whether I was doing better or worse. Pill pushers. Their record keeping is shoddy with inaccuracies and the patient pain assessment sheets missing because they throw them away. Dr. Jackson cancelled a Trigger Point Injection appointment I had on the books and when I asked why, the office manager, Ruth, told me he cancelled it because I questioned my records that had my employment status, marital status, my weight and my height wrong. I asked Dr. Jackson for a second consultation in a letter I mailed and my nurse practitioner told me he did not want to see me. The letter I mailed in was also… missing from my records but is referred to in my records. Since I have moved to a new doctor I am able to get out of my chair more often and go out. Shame on doctor Anderson.

Very pleased with the attention Dr Anderson gave me during my procedures . Also the time he took with me and care when doing injections has a very caring bedside manner ! Would like to find him !

Knowledgeable, personable, and clinically skilled. A rare find these days, especially in pain management. He recently left the practice he was a part of. I am in process of trying to locate him to follow him (if he stayed in general area).

Dr. Anderson w/Bluegrass Pain Mgmt Consultants is one of the BEST doctors I've had, and, unfortunately I've had lot of doctors with all of my health issues. He is one of the most knowledgable, thorough with excellent communication skills and professional, yet friendly, doctors in the area of pain mgmt. in Louisville, Kentucky. He also is kind, has a great bedside manner, a wonderful sense of humor, likes music and truly cares about his patients. I hate losing him from Bluegrass Pain Mgmt Consultants. :-(
