This was a nightmare experience. We went to the emergency room having researched the particular illness we were dealing with. We know quite a bit about biology and used official websites of medical groups and governmental agencies to research the issue before going. The doctor contradicted the advice of these groups in a flippant manner, and repeatedly talked us out of seeking treatment. We did more research on the issue and realized that the doctor didn't know what he was talking about and had to go BACK to the emergency room to get treatment. We fortunately saw a different physician who basically quoted to us the government websites we had read and treated us right away. If we had not received treatment for this particular condition, it's possible that we could have died. And to rub some salt in the wound, we still had to pay both doctors for their "services". We didn't mind paying the second doctor--but really? What did Dr. Anderson do? We unfortunately wouldn't recommend him… to anyone.
