Dr. David George Apple, DO

I was written of for dead on my 37th birthday. Dr Apple didn't give up on me. I provided probably too much medical evidence and it proved true. David is open minded and yet makes decisions based on fact. Most Doctors have faith in the dollar. Dr. David G Apple has faith in what matters.

A couple years ago, I had a ruptured appendix. I was severely guarded, in massive amount of pain and hadn’t eaten for three days. Was sweating, losing weight, vomiting and bowel movements regular until I had no fluid to discharge. I made my appointment with Dr. Apple. Told him what was going on. He kept saying it’s not my gallbladder, I could only agree as I was not a doctor myself. He thought I had food poisoning so sent my stool samples to a lab in Missouri. Fast forward past the weekend and I was in severe and worsening pain. Money was tight, but I had to go to the ER. Which ended up costing 180k, for the full procedure. I was going into septic shock and was to weak and infected to get my appendix removed. They had guessed that it had been ruptured for quite some time. They guessed at at about 5-7 days. I was a college athlete or else I would have died, no doubt. My organic, healthy lifestyle had saved me. Why I am writing this review 2 years later is it has bothered me and… scared me to know that this experience could happen to someone else. He never once mentioned it could have been an appendix or else I would have searched the web and figured it out. He got stuck on “it’s not your gallbladder, you’re not a woman and you’re not pregnant “ I heard that at least 5 times. He never touched me. No light ever clicked on in his head that I was having atypical signs and symptoms. He is a nice guy, don’t get me wrong. He actually called me after I left the hospital because I was so angry and he said sorry “I won’t do that again “I chalked it up as a lesson under my belt, my body hasn’t fully recovered ever since. Not my favorite apple to say the least.. Good luck

i been going to Dr. Apple for 3 year now and i have to say he is one of best, knowledgeable provider that i have ever been to. He not only does his job but is always looking out for his patients and making sure that they feel ok of what he is recommending.

Dr Apple was my family doctor for many years in Dayton, Ohio. He cared a lot about his patients. I miss him very much.

Very attentive and concerned. Answers questions and gives good care.

Dr. Apple is a great listener and appreciates my input. He remembers me & my family every time I see him and asks about us. Most of all, he does whatever it takes to figure out what is going on with me! The best do for I've seen!! The only thing that bothers me sometimes is that he talks really really fast. It can feel a bit rushed, but if you ask him to slow down he will. ;-)
