After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in 2000, Dr. Balhoff graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2006 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He received the Dean’s Outstanding Senior Dental Student award and the LSUSD Alumni Association Leadership Award. Dr. Balhoff was a member of the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society and was awarded with membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society for outstanding academic and clinical achievement in his class. Dr. Balhoff went on to complete his Orthodontics Residency at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in June 2008.
