Dr. David Allen Baram, MD

Dr. Baram diagnosed an ectopic pregnancy for me right away before anything had ruptured, saving me from what could have been life-threatening and a long recovery. Then he walked me and my husband through the recovery of that and we began discussing fertility treatment options when he diagnosed another issue in one of my tubes. He performed the surgery to remove the faulty tube and 2 months later I was pregnant without any fertility drugs or other unnatural means. He has been with me throughout the entire pregnancy; he takes the time to explain every tool and procedure to me, what every number means, and all my options. His nurses are amazing and I always feel like he really listens to me. He takes no chances and he believes me when I fear something is wrong. He follows up personally with me even after I go to visit with another doctor (either my primary MD or endocrinologist for diabetes). I feel lucky to have such a great OB to help me through what was one of the worst times of my… life and also be there through what is one of the best times of my life.

Dr. Baram was my doctor for 17 yrs. Lucky for me he decided to leave rochester ny. When i got another dr, I discovered that I had 4 fibroid tumors. One of them, very large. I am very disappointed that he never treated my for this condition. I saw him yearly, so their is no excuse. I'm ok now. They are shrinking, after 2 miscarriages, because of them!

Dr. Baram was with me through a difficult time, and his compassion and caring about my and my family's well being has been with me ever since. I want to take the opportunity, as late in coming as it is, to fully thank him for his loving support. He's the best.
