Dr. David Muecke Barker, MD

Super friendly at first. Then questioned some of his recommendations and decided to opt out of some shots. He became cold. Would not take time to answer questions, always in a rush. My baby came before he made it to the hospital but he was stitching me up and was super rude and snapping at me for not relaxing my body like he told me for not holding foot stirrup that was broken out of his face. My sister had 4 babies and was with me and said she’s never seen any doctor acting so horribly. He never came in to check on me at the hospital, never informed when to come in for next check up.

Rude when i ask a question. Doesn't spend anytime with patients. Makes me feel uncomfortable.

I have been seeing Dr. Barker for about 4 months. He spends little time with me and my husband at office visits. His team of nurses are very supportive and nice....setting up the room for comfort and taking vital signs. When presenting questions to Dr. Barker, he expresses little interest to none to me. My thoughts towards this pregnancy seems of no interest to him. My husband is of a different nationality, and since we have been visiting his office; he doesn't talk to him, only me. He has requested that my husband step outside to share information with me.... This made us feel very degraded... I. Am not excited about this doctor delivering my child. He doesn't seem to respect what we as parents want to experience for our child. No high- risk measurements as of last month. So, why is it Dr. Barker that I can't attempt to deliver my child vaginally? We have no inet rest in a hysterectomy at this time.

The best OBGYN ever.

Dr Barker is an AWESOME doctor! He was my OB doctor and I have no complaints. First off, the office in which he works is very nice and comforting. His nurse, Myra, is so sweet and always remembers our names, as well as the name we had picked for our baby! Dr Barker is very professional yet you feel so comfortable speaking with him. You never feel like he is in a rush and always takes his time with you. There was hardly ever a wait time in the office. We were almost always in and out in an hour. When delivering my baby, dr barker stayed in the room with us almost the entire time I was pushing (a little over an hour) and cancelled the rest of his afternoon appointments. He could have easily done an episiotomy or used forceps to speed up the delivery, but instead he was very patient and took his time with us. I would definitely recommend him to everyone and I will for sure use him with my next child also!

I have seen Dr Barker for at least 5 years, he has always been very professional yet personable. I had my hysterectomy about two years ago, I must tell you everything went perfectly and I am very happy with the results. Dr. Barker is very knowledgeable and I appreciate his concern of his patients.

Dr. Barker is a wonderful Doctor, and his nurse (Myra) is every bit as wonderful as he is. I always knew my babies were in good hands when he was the one checking in on them. My husband and I both refer everyone we know to his practice.

Dr. Barker is wonderful. Truly caring. He is personal and prayed with us after the birth of our son, awesome.
