Dr. David Hilliard Baskin, MD

My husband and I must leave Dr. David Baskin's practice for insurance reasons, and we are very upset to have to do so. He is attentive, kind, knowledgeable and thorough. We wish we could continue with him.

Dr. Baskin is by far the best doctor I have been to. He has been my primary physician for years now and would not look anywhere else.

I have been going to see Dr. David Baskin for over 25 years. He has been a fabulous doctor. He has always seen me immediately when I was sick, sent me to great specialists when it was needed, take a careful history of your family members so he can anticipate future health problems that could arise, and even chastised me in the phone for missingvmy annual physical. A few times I have seen his brother Martin, and again, blown away by their professionalism.

Selected Dr. Baskin with high hopes but lesson learned: No number of awards & accolades ensures attentive, competent care. In my case, Dr Baskin missed a diagnosis for one of the most common diseases, even though I now know I was showing all of the classic symptoms, ones that a med student would have quickly identified and acted on. It was the instincts and sense of urgency of a specialist -- in a totally different area -- that, without exaggeration, probably saved my life. Now with a different primary care physician and can't be happier.

He was sincere, caring, and got an in depth medical history as a first time patient.

Best Doctor in the world

So far, so good with Dr. Baskin. He's done everything right.

I have been seeing Dr. David for years. He was recommended to me after having fired four other doctors. I couldn't find a doctor that respected my opinions or decisions or had a willingness to work with me. My body, my choice. Dr. Baskin has been everything I was looking for in a doctor. He respects my intellect, in so doing, pulls no punches. Gives you a straight up.

All I can say is that he is the best internist I have ever gone to. I have been a patient for over 10 years and he has always been a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable doctor. I highly recommend him.

He makes reasonable plans of action. He makes excellent referrals to other specialists.
