Thank you so much to Dr. Bastacky and the team! I really appreciate all the hard work and fast response you all have implemented as part of my treatment!! The ladies at the front desk, Mindy and Tyese, have greeted me every time I come in (for consultation and checkups) with a smile and have asked how I was feeling. They also have always been there to help me with appointments and to help me figure out issues with insurance. They always looked out for my well being—thank you ladies!! Nurse Fanta has always greeted me with a smile and wave and a “how are you doing?!” She always made sure I was comfortable while waiting for Dr. Bastacky to make his rounds to me. I appreciate her concern for my healing and also just for my every day life. Thank you Fanta! Dr. Bastacky is unlike any other surgeon I have met: he is kind, humble, and super funny and would get me laughing even when my jaw was wired shut (I think it was to check to make sure my bands were tight...??). He… worked well with my orthodontist to come up with the right treatment before surgery and responded in a timely manner. I left another surgeon at The Maryland Center for Oral Surgery and Dental Implants because they could not figure out what to do for over a year—Dr. Bastacky solved the issue within one visit and I had surgery within 5 months from my initial consultation. I could not be happier!! I am on my way to full recovery and everything is healing really well and on time. I could not imagine going with any other surgeon for this major jaw surgery! Dr. Bastacky and his entire team have just made this process so easy for me that I’d go back to them in a heartbeat! But not too soon as I hope to not have jaw surgery again if I can help it...?? Recently I was referred to Dr. Bastacky by my periodontist. It was an emergency and I was really sick due to an oral infection. His office took me immediately and the receptionists were so kind and caring. The dental assistants took me back to my room right away and were very efficient and empathetic. Dr. Bastacky treated me and my I felt my infection, pain and dehydration improve. He saved my life and am grateful to him and staff for being so healing. It was the best money I spent. I highly recommend Dr. Bastacky and his Catonsville office. As a registered nurse I know what excellent healthcare is and am grateful. Thank you.

Dr. Bastacky dealt with what other oral surgeons had called impossible with finesse and kindness. I have nothing but praise for this professional who restored my ability to chew.

Dr Bastacky’s office is very busy, but very accommodating. He & his staff are very professional, very good at extractions, & compassionate. IV Sedation (being put to sleep), is the way to go for wisdom teeth. I would highly recommend him!??????

My mother went to get her tooth removed. Its was the WORST EXPERIENCE SHE HAD !!!!!!. He was very insensitive to her needs, and she was in EXTREME PAIN. The tooth was on a nerve, and he put the needle right on the infected area. She screamed in pain, and latched on to the staff members as a reaction to the needle. Her whole body was visibly shaken, and he told her NOT TO TOUCH THE STAFF after seeing her reaction. I'm highly upset with todays service and my mother cried mercilessly as we left.

Dr. Bastacky is the best oral surgeon you will find. He made the wisdom tooth process easy and stress free. Him and his team are very professional and caring. A great experience. A very nice office too. I highly recommend Dr. B.

I saw Dr. Bastacky for wisdom teeth removal. He was fantastic and very gentle. I was pleased more so with the front desk, as I have had issues with other offices in the past with telling me one price and sending me a bill for another. The fee they quoted was perfect and I never got a bill. I highly recommend Dr. Bastacky

Under no circumstances would I EVER recommend this guy. I went to this nutjob a few years back. His staff I found was nice ..however he was a complete and total jerk. I had a wisdom tooth that became fully extracted overnight. I could not open my mouth. He was the on call doctor for my dentist. He did not explain anything to me and held up a minuture hammer to knock out my tooth. I m totally not making this up. Then when I got upset he said he wasnt going to deal with me crying. Mind you i was 7 months pregnant and sitting in a chair barely able to talk while having this goof with a hammer in front of me. Turns out my sister went to him years ago and he was just as much as a jerk to her as well. WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE GO BACK TO HIM! HE PUT THE FEAR OF DENTIST IN ME FOR QUITE SOME TIME! I would rather knock out my tooth with an ice skate blade like Tom Hanks did in Castaway
