Summary
Dr. Bauman, a Little Rock native, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. A Cum Laude graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, he earned his Medical Degree in 1976 and went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at Tulane, where he served as Chief Resident in Medicine. After completing his Fellowship in Cardiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he returned to Tulane as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and director of the noninvasive cardiac laboratory at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, where he was actively involved in the training of residents and fellows. Dr. Bauman returned home to join Little Rock Cardiology Clinic in 1984. He has co-authored several scientific papers and regularly participates in conferences across the country in his major fields of interest: interventional cardiology, coronary angioplasty and stenting and the treatment of peripheral vascular disease.
