Dr. David James Becker, MD

Never thought I'd use "colonoscopy" and "pleasant" in the same sentence, but it's the best way to describe my experience with Dr. Becker and his staff. From consultation, to procedure and discharge from the clinic, it was as positive as this otherwise onerous experience could be. This was my third such procedure in ten years, so I have some frame of reference. I will definitely be back, and recommend Dr. Becker without hesitation.

Have been seeing Dr. Becker for a couple years. He did my colonoscopy and endoscopy. After surgery he prescribed Pantoprozol indefinitely. When I asked what he thought of only staying on it for 2 wks as recommended by the drug manufacturer and what he thought about the recent studies linking the drug to dementia and Alzheimer's his response was " I guess you have some choices to make." I also recently visited him after being in the hospital for pain in my stomach area. He did not even address it. Just told me to take the Pantoprozol. I find his attitude blaise and unconcerned. His office staff is very nice. I am currently looking for another gastroenterologist.

This office refused to see me because they ha]en to be in the same group as my last gi dr. I am in severe pain and just came out of the hospital for the same issue. Now i have to find another gi dr who doesnt have my records and will start all over again. I may be deas before then. I am taking this to my lawyer.

i have been to him multiple times he is very patient and thorough .excellent patient orientation and have always found his diagnosis to be accurate i have medical background and know how to find the best dr becker is right up there with best

Dr. Becker is very professional . He is very polite and listens to all your symptoms before suggesting a treatment. You don't feel like you are being rushed or anything. I highly recommend him.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Becker last year for the first time. I underwent a procedure, after my initial visit, as well, and had a follow-up visit after that. I felt like Dr. Becker listened to me, was courteous, respectful, easy to talk to, and he has a sense of humor to make the exam a little more comfortable and less stressful. I would recommend Dr. Becker and his friendly staff to anyone in need of a gastroenterologist in Pinellas County!

I found him uncaring, brusque, and a lot more expensive than other, much more professinal, doctors.
