Dr. David F Bekhor, MD

Dr. Bekhor has been my PCP for many years, he is a thoughtful and caring, an excellent Doctor

I booked an appointment where I was supposed to see him and his NP. She was very nice and willing to help but he didn't even entered the room to talk to me, literally just talked to me while holding the door.

I came in with my husband today and realised what a complete waste of time it was! He is apathetic and is more concentrated on texting on his phone than listening to the client. He didn't even want to listen to what I had to say, dismissed my concern and told me that i don't have what i was diagnosed with while having the lab work results right in front of him , ( which clearly stated that i do. ) He told me that I should go back to the doc that reffered me to see a infections disease specialist in the first place and re evaluate my condition. Now I was appalled at how nonchalant he was towards the entire visit. I traveled for 2 hours to see this so called specialist just to be sent home with no help from him.. I came out crying my eyes out because I know something is terribly wrong with me and all he suggested was an anti histamine for an CRE infection. All i can say is IF YOU NEED HELP DO NOT COME HERE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AS I HAVE.

After two years of frustration, I'm no longer seeing Dr. Bekhor as my PCP. His office is managed poorly. He's quickly jumps to conclusions about conditions. He doesn't listen well. Would not recommend Dr. Bekhor to anyone.

First of all, I don't trust that this is the only review written for Dr. Bekhor on this website. I know for a fact that his practice is in shambles. The organization and billing department is a mess. But the doc just doesn't have a bedside manner. I can forgive and skilled surgeon's lack of people skills. But a primary care physician needs to be able to communicate, not bury his face in his smart phone looking up drugs and symptoms. I can do that on webmd. Dr. Bekhor really doesn't do much. Talk about low energy and lack of interest.
