The office staff was not courteous at all. After waiting a half an hour in the waiting room, I was finally brought into an examining room for a consult on having breast surgery to remove a lump that was found on my mammogram. He was very condescending to the fact of saying that its probably nothing, and because I carry medicaid, he made me feel as though I was there for elective surgery and scheduling a surgery appointment would take some time because of my insurance. Medicaid is not a gift, in fact I recently became a widow and I lost all of the health insurance my husband had, and his income as well leaving me no choice but to take what the state gave. I am a mother of four kids, and believe me, I receive no public assistance other than my health insurance, because I am unemployed and left to raise my children. I was totally disgusted as to how I was treated, so I simply told his nurse dont waste any time scheduling anything for me, as I will not be going back ever.

This doctor has the worst attitude towards his patient he judges you and puts you down would not recommend he also lets his patients he judges suffer in pain

I was referred to Dr. Benisch by my Gastro specialist for gall bladder removal. Getting an appointment was quick, as was scheduling surgery. His staff was outstanding and excellent with follow up. My surgery went without a hitch and Dr.Benisch was accessible and easy to communicate with before and after surgery. I had no difficulties at all and would highly recommend him.
