Dr. David M Bernstein, MD

Dr. David Bernstein is currently Board Certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). He is a Fellow of the College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine, and the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. He served for multiple years on the Board of Trustees for ACFAOM culminating with the Presidency for 2 years. He also served 13 years on the Podiatric Medical Licensing Board for the Washington State Dept of Health.Dr. Bernstein was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio followed by a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (DPM) from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now called the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine) in 1989. He completed his residency at Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, Detroit, MI.Dr. Bernstein first began his practice in 1990 in …Seattle, WA. He continued to operate this practice maintaining the highest possible standards and reputation for almost 15 years. The Swedish Hospital Providence Family Practice Residency Program had a rotation with Dr. Bernstein as a requirement for all first year Family Practice Residents since 1995 until he sold his Seattle practice in 2004 after moving to the Kitsap Peninsula.
