Inappropriate hugging made my child and me very uncomfortable.

My 15 year old son has been a patient of Dr. Berry for a number of years. We began seeing him years ago when Dr Berry worked in the Salem LG Peds office before opening the Blacksburg location. He was so thorough and dependable with my son's care we did not hesitate to continue with his practice when it relocated to Blacksburg. My son is special needs, and at times I know we have been more than a difficult case. We have always found Dr. Berry and his staff to be pleasant, attentive and mindful of our needs and very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us with immediate and long term medical concerns. They have also been great with referrals for us in regard to the many specialists that my son sees on a regular basis. I have nothing but praise for Dr Berry and his staff. While under his care we have experienced difficult and complex medical issues and several hospitalizations. Looking back, I attribute a lot of our successes to the help and care we received from this practice… and Dr. Berry. I always offer this practice as a referral to others seeking an experienced pediatric office.

I recommend Dr. Berry to all my friends. Both my children visit his clinic regularly from their first day. Now one of child is over three. We learned a lot and get encouraged from these visits. Sometimes, the kids got fever, we can visit Dr. Berry in the same day and got treatment which was very helpful. Dr. Berry knows very well about the child and have strong experience. I trust him no only because he has the knowledge and skills but also he knows how to communicate with kids. I hope he can help more parents and children.

Very prompt to answer all your questions. This time we went for a well visit but my little one also has a cold and Dr. Berry didn't hesitate to check on him for that. He is also very easy to schedule a same-day visit. You may have to wait a bit longer for that case but it's worth to know that you have a choice when your baby is sick.

When needed, it's very easy to schedule a same-day visit, which is definitely a plus when you have a sick kid crying at home. Dr. Berry spent time with me and my little one, answering all the questions I had, and my son likes him a lot.

Dr. Berry and staff are always considerate and helpful. Office is clean with children's books and magazines. Both Dr. Berry and Emily Sanderson will go above and beyond to get to the heart of a problem and will not discount what the patient has to say.

I love Dr. Berry and his Staff, they are all amazing, Sometimes the wait can be long but I know its because he is taking the time a family needs to thoroughly understand what is going on with their child, and I know Dr. Berry will take the time with us when its our turn. I have never left this office without all my questions being answered, and that's hard to find!

We have about an hour's round trip to visit Dr. Berry...but the travel is worth it. He is the BEST SWVA Peds DO in the area. The wait may be long and getting an appt can be tough but you expect that with such a loved doctor. Caring and playful with kids! Great for special needs kiddos!

Dr. David Berry has been my children's pediatrician since they were born. I can truly say that even now as they are older they get excited about every visit. They even try to fake being sick to see Dr.Berry. He truly cares about his patients, and the staff is extremely nice and helpful also. If you're looking for a wonderful Dr with an equally wonderful staff this is it!
