Meet Sedona Dentist, Dr. David H. Bill

Dr. David Bill is a perfectionist in dentistry and is personally committed to providing every patient with a quality experience. He is a calm and caring individual known for providing gentle, pain free experiences.
Dr. Bill grew up in Clarkdale, Arizona. His father was a general surgeon at the Cottonwood hospital for 30 years. For most of those years, Dr. Bill’s dad was the only surgeon for the entire Verde Valley.

Dr. Bill graduated from Mingus Union High School in Jerome in 1972, from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a degree in Biology in 1976, and from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1979.
He practiced dentistry in Tucson and Douglas, Arizona for nine years before returning to the Verde Valley in 1988 and going into practice with Dr. Oliver Hundelt. Dr. Bill moved to his own office in 1995 and to the present location in 2008.
…Dr. Bill is an avid golfer with a single digit handicap, loves to sing (especially with his family) and enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, running, and swimming. He has also volunteered his time and talents in the community. He was a Cub Master for the local Cub Scout troop for 2 years and was an assistant Boy Scout leader. He has been a member of the Sedona Red Rock Kiwanis Club for 20 years. He was the founding coach for the Sedona Red Rock High School Golf Team and coached the team for 10 years.
Jennette Bill
Dr. Bill’s partner in life is his wife, Jennette. Jennette grew up in Sedona, her family having moved to Sedona in 1962. Jennette is a 1973 graduate of Mingus Union High School, having also attended Verde Valley School for one year. She is a 1977 graduate of the University of Arizona in Tucson with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Jennette practiced nursing for 11 years before joining Dr. Bill in the dental practice when they returned to Sedona. Since 1988, Jennette has been managing the business side of the practice so that the doctors can focus exclusively on providing excellence in dentistry.
Jennette has always enjoyed volunteering in the community. Some of the organizations she has been involved with include the West Sedona School PTSA, the Sedona-Oak Creek School District Board of Governors, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, the Sedona Girl Scout Council, the Sedona Charter School, the Sedona Flagstaff Symphony League Youth Scholarship Competition, the Missoula Children’s Theater, the Verde Valley School Mas Amigos volunteer group, the Verde Valley School Board of Trustees and the Sedona Rotary Club.
Both Dr. Bill and Jennette believe that returning to the Verde Valley was the best move of their lives. Every patient is a friend and a neighbor… and they would love for every friend and neighbor to become a patient…to receive the best that dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Bill and Jennette have three children. The family enjoys singing in harmony and has shared many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, golf, and rafting in the Grand Canyon, twice!
Nathan Bill
Nathan, the oldest, is a 1999 valedictorian graduate of Mingus Union High School and a 2004 cum laude and honors graduate of the University of Arizona in Tucson with a degree in Computer Science. He is a computer consultant for IBM.
Tamara Bill Fernandes
Dr. Tamara Bill Fernandes joined the Sedona Dental Arts practice in July of 2009.

Meredeth Bill
The youngest, Meredeth (MeMe) Bill, is a 2010 graduate of Verde Valley School, Sedona’s International Baccalaureate School. She attends University of Arizona in Tucson and has a passion for languages and travel. She attended West Sedona School as well as the Sedona Montessori Charter School.
