Dr. David Binder, MD

He is very blunt and very thorough which i very much appreciate. He's amazing i was not accustome when i started to see him, but his way is the best way. He does not hide anything he speaks his mind and communicates with my other doctors which i did not expect but that is what great doctors do.

Dr Binder is the first male OB/GYN I've ever gone to and I can honestly say he's the best. I am having my 2nd child and Dr. Binder is very sensitive to cultural needs and traditions. This is of great importance for me as an expecting mother and immigrant from Uzbekistan. He took his time to speak with me both before and after each exam in his consultation room ( no previous OB/GYNs ever gave me this much of their time). In fact I was seen by NPs who rushed me through appointment. Dr Binder is knowledgeable, caring,thorough and indeed delivers patient-centered care. He is what I consider a rare find. You will enter the practice welcomed with dignity and exit knowing your health is in the hands of a true partner

To begin with, the office is very clean and organized and the staff is very kind and helpful. Dr Binder was extremely thorough and immensely knowledgeable. He listened to all my concerns and went over annual side of questions thoroughly . Did not have to go somewhere else for bloodwork or sono.

dr. david binder is the funniest man in brooklyn. get your annual pap smear, then hop over to coney island and get yourself a hot dog. you've earned it, kid.

Recently Dr. Binder delivered my grandson. Before coming to him we started the process of finding obstetrician who will supervise pregnancy and will deliver the baby in the hospital. It became a huge challenge. Apparently a lot if not all OB offices hire nurse-practitioners (PA) and you will almost never be seeing by a doctor with whom you made an appointment. And it is not even a promise that this doctor will deliver your baby. After trying a couple of offices we came to Dr. Binder. His nicely decorated office comforted you right away. All seven months Dr. Binder was the only doctor who supervised my daughter’s pregnancy. He provided highly professional care, never in a rush, always answering many questions with a smile and good sense of humor. And of course he was with my daughter on a delivery day for almost 14 hours. What more can you expect? We glad that we made the right decision. Dr. Binder, keep doing your superb solo practice amazing job.

Dr. David Binder should have his licence taken away as he FALSELY DIAGNOSED me 2 TIMES during my pregnancy with very serious conditions: 1. toxoplasmosis, a virus that attacks unborn baby’s brain cells. His exact words were “it means that the baby will be retarded”. As it turned out later, he simply misread the lab report. 2. A month later he falsely diagnosed my unborn baby with esophageal atnesia, a condition where the fetus has serious problems with digestive system that needs surgical intervention and high chance of chromosomal abnormalities. He pressured me to have more and more sonograms and I ended up having them 2 times a week, to charge more $ to my insurance. I left Dr Binder when I was 7 months pregnant. In these 7 months he made me a complete nervous wreck, stressed me and my unborn baby and deprived me of all of my dreams and hopes for a happy pregnancy. The new doctor told me that my pregnancy was absolutely normal and I ended up having a healthy baby. I would not… recommend Dr. Binder to my worst enemy!

I never write reviews but this time I can’t help it to add to bunch of other negative reviews to describe my own experience with Dr Binder. I came to this office looking for prenatal care after a recommendation from a friend. I wish I found it suspicious that this office chose not to display Zocdoc reviews for their practice. Please stay away from this place if you are looking for professional care. Dr Binder criticized work of other doctor (labs, ultrasounds) in such rude manner unaccepted for any professional needless to say how unethical it sounded from the doctor. He concluded the visit with the fact that my commercial insurance (which I pay out of my pocket for) pays him "not enough" to keep me as his patient for a delivery. He went on a long story about how hospitals and anesthesiologists are being paid higher rates than he, the delivery doctor. I might be wrong but after speaking to my insurance representative after the visit, I was told that he is in-network and should accept… the contracted fee schedule. I really hope that insurance company will investigate it further. Any other time I wouldn’t be upset and just left the office but pregnancy makes me as most other women more sensitive. Ladies, please save yourself time and avoid unnecessary stress, stay away from this place at 2989 Ocean Pkwy (the only good experience was his medical assistant who seemed genuinely nice).

Dr. David Binder is a truly unique Doctor, they simply broke the mold after they made him! Medicine is his true calling: he is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, caring, a true professional, he does not leave room for an error, his attention to details is simply remarkable. I wish there were more doctors like Him! I would be previliged to recommend Dr. David Binder to all my friends!

Unprofessional, inattentive and extremely rude, which is absolutely unacceptable in his profession.
