Dr. David James Black, MD

Dr Black is the only GI doctor who has listened to me. He explained the treatment plan, and had been following up with me every several months to keep up on my progress.

Dr. Black is trying to figure out what is going on. I've been having alot of pain, nausea and I hope he can help.

Very let down.

I love Dr. Black. He is very efficient but still listens to me when I have questions or concerns. Always on time for appointments. I love the office staff as well.

This was a follow up visit for exam/biopsy report and treatment plan. Dr. Black was concise and to the point and offered options and opinions which I highly respect. He responded to my concerns and answered my questions and we agreed on a plan and arranged a follow up evaluation.

Dr. Black has been doing my procedures for six years. He has always been thorough in explaining his findings. His staff is a pleasure to work with.

He did a colonoscopy on my daughter and 4 days later she lost about half her blood volume due to severe hemorrhaging because he waited so long to go back in and fix what was bleeding horribly. In 91/2 hours her hemoglobin dropped by almost half. He avoided her and her family and when we finally got him to talk to us, he refused to take another test for her hemoglobin level prior to releasing her to go home. We had to take her to her regular doctor to get that done. If you are considering him as your gastroenterologist, do yourself a favor and just say no. My opinion is he does not really care about his patients or their recovery, just how much money can I make by shoving more people through.
