Dr. came into the room as if his wife was cheating on him and not giving him any. He treated me as if I did not know what I was talking about and left the room for hours without even checking in. If you hate your job you shouldn’t be a doctor

Took a relative to the ER following a seizure. "Dr" asked my relative if he had taken his seizure meds that day, and being confused coming out of the seizure, my relative was having a hard time getting explaining that he had taken his meds, but has been vomiting everything, so the meds weren't staying down. Instead of listening, this "Dr" raised his voice and said, "It's a yes or no question.Did you take your meds or not? Yes or no!" WOW! My relative is also mentally ill, homeless and had very little to eat, and limited access to food before I found him and took him to the ER. All of these things contribute to repeated seizures and repeat visits to the ER. After explaining this to the "Dr", he came back after labs and said potassium levels are low so eat a couple of bananas and a glass of oj and you should be ok. I was fuming at that point as no one was paying attention to the fact that he is homeless and without food. I told that "Dr" is was unreasonable to expect that he could just… "eat a couple of bananas and oj" in his situation without access to these things. The "Dr" asked why he couldn't stay with me. I told him to step outside and I'd explain the many reasons why he could not stay with me (I have children and I cannot trust my relative, so I cannot risk my family.). "Dr" said, "It's ok, it's none of my business." It sure isn't! "Dr" said, "Well, let me put my thinking cap on and see what we can do." The "Dr" never came back to the room. I asked for the crisis team to be called and the "Dr" refused to let them come to the ER to evaluate my relative. 7 hours later, he was discharged with nothing noted on his discharge papers about mental illness, being homeless, no access to food, no social work consult, and nothing about my repeated requests to have the crisis team respond. "Dr. Bogolub is a compassionless disgrace to physicians, and to all human beings.

I came in because of a severe cough. All I wanted was to stop coughing and sleep. My breathing was fine and my lungs were clear, but I just couldn't stop coughing. He gave me two nebulizer treatments in the course of an hour, which had me shaking like a leaf. The person who administered them said it wasn't normal to give them so close together, and she would only give me half. It made my heart race so badly, and my head ache. I waited so long, I was there a total of 6 hours in all. And then he wouldn't even give me some good cough syrup so I could get some rest, stop coughing, and feel better. What a joke! I feel like I wasted my time.
