Dr. David Lynn Bolin, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Bolin for ~15 years. I've travelled over an hour each way to see him. I don't know what has happened recently, but it's very difficult to get an appointment with him now. My last visit was with his nurse practitioner, but she's apparently gone. Recently, I called because work-related hypertension had my blood pressure was in the red zone. After explaining, the receptionist still wasn't able to get me in and I had to visit the community health walk in treatment center. The staff was surprised that my physician didn't work me in. When I tried to schedule a follow up visit with Dr Bolin, it was 3 weeks out. When I called to reschedule due to work commitments, I couldn't get in for another 2 weeks, even though I told her I was halving m medication just to get to the scheduled visit. I'm lucky I haven't had a heart attack or stroke in the meantime. After this last visit, I won't be going back.

My daughter ended up in the ER due to a staff members poor decision. I would never trust anyone here again.

Best doctor I have ever had; patient, great listening skills, prompt, great referrals; great staff.

Dr Bolin has been my family doctor since my 19 year old was 2. He is AMAZING! I have referred him to two of my closest friends who FELL IN LOVE also. He is patient and kind and down to earth! What more could you want? I never wait long either!

I called to make an appointment with Dr. Bolin. I was told I could not be seen for 2 1/2 weeks. I scheduled my appointment at 12:30 on a Monday so that my husband could attend with me on his lunch break. The Friday evening before my appointment I get an automated message saying my appointment had been changed to 9:30. First off, thanks for the personal touch. Second I had already explained why I wanted the 12:30 appt. I guess patients don't get options here. So I show up Monday morning at 9:15 and the receptionist tells me that I will have to reschedule my appointment because I was late. I explained that my appointment was at 9:30, and she told me it was actually at 9:00. Well according to the recording it was at 9:30, and besides it's a 15 min difference. I understand the empty waiting room was probably overwhelming, but I was hoping for a little help understanding this whole debacle. Needless to say I did not reschedule the appt. I really didn't see the point in jumping through more… hoops.

doctor was ok but he's got a problem with his staff. office not very well run. can't reach nurse for test results, keep playing phone tag, promised to send medical records to specialist but never did it and nobody seems to care

Awesome doctor!!! He never acts rushed and always takes the time to answer my questions. Spends plenty of time with his patients so that they understand what is going on and understand their treatment.
