Dr. David Booth, DO

While my mother was alive she always felt like Dr. Booth didn't want to be her doctor anymore. I chalked it up to her being sensitive. She passed away a couple of weeks ago from a heart attack (she had one a couple weeks earlier but had stents put in and made it. She needed two more stents but passed away at home before she could get that procedure done). I called Dr. Booth's office to find out when he was going to sign the death certificate. The lady I talked to said they were going to put down cancer (she had it but it wasn't going to kill her). I said No - it was a heart attack. I picked up the death certificate today and it said the contributing factors were: breast cancer - 12/31/2014 breast cancer - 01/01/1997 appendix cancer - 12/31/14 iron-deficiency anemia - 06/13/23 How can you die of breast cancer if you DON'T HAVE ANY BOOBS? Iron Deficiency will kill you? His lack of compassion is very apparent and hurtful. Both my parents were long time patients and he couldn't… even pick up the phone and say I'm sorry or read the charts and see she had had a heart attack a couple weeks before hand. She had even called in after her first heart attack and said her stool was black. He told her to eat yogurt. She may have had an internal bleed. But she listened to him. Please do yourself a favor and find a physician that cares about you (that includes being on time. They are out there - my doctor is!!!). I know that this isn't going to bring my mother back and honestly, not sure why this bothers me so much but it does. Just a total lack of compassion.

Dr Booth is the best,I have seen.He has helped me ALOT through health problems I have Had.

I chose Dr. Booth when my prior primary care doctor retired. Easy to secure an appointment. Listens and asks good questions and discusses concerns. Recommended to my daughter and my wife with no reservations

I agree with some of the older reviews. He was pompous, arrogant, barely listened to me. He began my appointment by trashing my previous MD who I adored, not a good way to introduce yourself! Go elsewhere!

Dr Booth has always been very thorough and has a great bedside manner. Explains things well and takes his time. The only issue I have is trying to reach anyone when I call. I am usually put on hold and remain there for about 10-20 min before I ever get to talk to a person.

All the staff are very friendly and professional, Dr Booth as well as caring has a good sense of humor and is very professional and always asks me if I have any questions or concerns, I thoroughly would recommend him to anyone

Works well with the patient. Very kowledgeable. Comprehensive. Very easy to get refills called in. I recommend him to others looking for a GP.Only 1 negative - doesn't accept medicaid.

The comments by those others are not accurate. Dr. Booth has been very compasionate with my medical care as well as all the other family members. He has been a great addition to our community.

I completely agree with the previous review. This guy is horrible, What an embarrassment to the hospital and medical profession.

Horrible doctor. Not very smart. Acts like he knows everything but knows nothing.
