Dr. David Brown with Columbia Surgical Specialists in Spokane, WN., is a very knowledgeable doctor who helped me recently with a hernia repair. I reported in to their surgical center on E. Cataldo and was treated well by all the staff. I woke from anesthesia with no difficulty or pain. At home I only took one pain pill and Ibuprofen twice, again no pain other than some background low grade aching. Here I am three weeks later and I am clear to exercise. Dr Raymond Lance recommended Dr. Brown to me saying he did quality work and uses up to date procedures. Dr. Brown used minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to do this procedure. Besides no pain and quality work, the real treat is the friendly staff (including the doctor) and how comfortable they made me feel with this procedure.

Wayne Summers a minute ago To add some validity to this review, I work for a Medical Device company in the Neuro and Spine world, not Dr. Brown's specialty but I guess you could say I have an insider perspective. Dr. Brown was added as a second surgeon to assist my Mother with a very complex tumor and hernia case. Not only is his bed side manners incredible (which I never really account for when I try to find the best) but he is very skilled at his craft. Excellent hand - eye abilities, excellent attention to detail, excellent at explaining the game plan and why. HE IS ABSOLUTELY THE REAL DEAL!!!!! Please if you have a loved one that needs surgery, he's it...period. So impressive overall. His post op follow up care was exceptional. I really can't say enough about how much of an incredible surgeon he is. Send him every loved one you know that needs his expertise!!!

I had a double robotic surgery, prosate removal by another Dr. first, with a follow up by Dr. David Brown for a double hernia repair/ robotic. Dr. Brown was all along reassuring and calm , before and after surgery, the robotic experience was remarkable a little soreness, but no pain involved following both surgeries-remarkable.
