Dr. David Gerard Burger, MD

I met with Dr. Burger and found him to be quite knowledgeable regarding my condition and the treatment options. His attitude and bedside manor needs a lot more work. When asking a question, he would frequently cut me off. When trying to get more details about treatment options so that I clearly understood them, he got visibly irritated as if I was wasting his time because I wanted to understand what it was he was prescribing. He was obviously having a bad day when I met with him. He scolded and berated his nurse in front of me when she came in to take my blood pressure and temperature. I found him to be a very knowledgeable doctor, but a rude, hot-headed person with some obvious anger issues.

Dr. Burger is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. He literally saved my life. He genuinely cares about his patients. When I was facing a medical crisis, not in his area, he listened to my concerns and helped me determine the path I needed to take. All doctors could take a page from his book on patient care.

Excellent people skills and very well informed.
