Dr. David T Burke, MD

Doctor David Burke is everything an MD should be. He treats my daughter with expertise and respects the limitations and problems associated with her Traumatic Brain Injury. He is a great listener, has the patience of Job, and is understanding, compassionate and has a sense of humor. His bedside manner is outstanding and in general he is just great. My daughter will not see any other Physiatrist for her condition and feels very comfortable with him. He is a very kind man and we love him. She has been a patient of Dr. Burke since 2008.

I waited in the room for over 2 1/2 hrs. Dr did not offer any useful advice, in fact I knew more statistics on my illness than him. Dr. also told me to take actions that were contradictory to the advice of at least 5 of my doctors. Dr. acknowledged that I was waiting for too long in a cold room and seemed in pain. I would not recommend him to ANYONE.

When I firs met Dr Burke, I was in a coma after a near drowning accident. Dr Burke would not give up on me and made sure I was getting therapy during my coma and he tried many new things that might wake me up. After 3 months, I did wake up but I was all bent and had to learn how to do everything all over again. Dr Burke made sure I had great therapy and today because of him I have a good life!
