Dr. David Byrum Bybee, MD

Dr Bybee just wants to do surgery. Never looked at my mri. Never followed up with me. Years later they are demanding an copay and can’t verify the date of service. Office is rude. Stated that they are waiving the copays and almost 4 years to the day they say they want it. Office manager said “it was a mistake” now they want the money. They also send other customers mail to other people’s addresses. Stanford said not to do surgery. If I followed Bybee I would be in worse shape now. Highly do no recommend this office unless you want to be bill years later and have more back problems

Dr Bybee was not please and the staff not professional. I had to call the office regarding the referral. Most likely getting a second opinion.

Dr. Bybee was great! He is a wonderful Doctor and his staff is great too!!

Would recommend you to go to a different doctor. Reschedule a surgery three times and kept changing the dates. Is still changing the dates. Can not belive that people would give him a high rating.

After surgery you are on your own, regarding pain and going to see him post-op. nearly impossible to schedule appointment, when you do see him there isn't any doctor patient privacy. They are under staffed and over worked, promises to call back go unheard of. Prescribed medication have to wait, regardless of the suffering of pain you are experiencing. The only thing that went well is the surgery. Long story short find a different doctor.

He did a C5-C6 Spinal Fusion on me. After several months of agonizing pain, Dr. Bybee did a phenomenal job as my surgeon from pre-op to post-op. I've never had any problems since he did my surgery and am finally pain-free. The handful of people I know that also used him had nothing, but the highest praise. A truly exceptional doctor.

I've called this office no less than 20 times over the past 3 weeks trying to get my son's follow up tests and appointments scheduled. I've been told I'd be called back, been left on hold, even disconnected from a call. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. Its not like this is for a scratch or scrape... this is follow up care for a broken neck!!

My experance with Dr Bybee has been excellent, he does have personal space issues, but than he's not there to be our best friend either, so I'd trade bedside side manner any day for a Dr who knows what he's doing and the best at what he does. My surgery was very sucessful (lumbar fusion) and I'm looking to get on his friends and family plan, because I'm recommending him to everyone I run into that has any kind of back problems.

I had a 360 fusion done by Dr Bybee and it is wonderful to be out of pain. I have been in constant back pain for 10 months and when I woke from surgery I had surgical pain, but no back pain. I have been out of surgery for a month now and for the first time in 11 months I am off all pain medication. My deepest thanks to Dr. Bybee and his staff for giving me my life back.

Dr. Bybee is very direct and matter of fact. I had a L4-L5 replacment and wouldent change a thing. The recommendation from Bybee a Charite Disk Replacment based on insurance approval, of course. His bed side manner could use some polishing but if drama is what I needed I would call my teen age daughter. With 4 kids I have to take my hat off to Bybee, he was able to put me back in the game.
