Our son, a Division I athlete, suffered a serious ankle injury, and Dr. Caldarella thoughtfully walked us through all treatment options. He reviewed the x-rays, MRI, consulted with other experts, and tailored a recovery plan to our son’s timeline. Thanks to his collaborative approach with physical therapy and close monitoring, our son was able to avoid surgery. We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Caldarella’s expertise and care. Dr Caldarella did surgery on both if my feet on separate occasions. From the 1st appt. to the last Dr Caldarella was thorough, careful to explain details, surgical procedure, results and terrific to work with. A very nice man. I highly recommend him and his great staff.

This guy didn’t even look at my feet and chose to play the untouchable surgeon, repeatedly stated my inability to walk was not a huge priority since I’m not a professional athlete and have a non physical job. It seemed to please him to be in a position to play god in that specific capacity. And he was 2 1/2 hours late for one of my appointments.

Most importantly, I believe my foot is in worse shape after surgery, will be getting an opinion. Inconsistent guidance from one apt to the other, cast was put on incorrectly requiring it to be sawed off and replaced, 1.25 hour wait to be seen for an apt., several scheduled apts. cancelled last minute… a very poor overall experience!

Dr. Caldarella botched my bunion surgery. My PT and a second podiatrist I saw were shocked at how he actually made the problem worse and did a procedure that was not indicated for my condition. I highly regret using him as a surgeon and will need corrective surgery. Do not recommend trusting him

If your looking for a professional, caring, able to explain conditions so you can understand then you have found him. I went from awful pain to being able to walk without pain!!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Caldarella for tendonitis in one foot and plantar fasciitis in the other. He is an excellent listener and communicator, was very patient with all my questions and concerns, and expertly treated both conditions. I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Caldarella operated on my right ankle because it had several issues which left me unable to run for exercise for several months. Before the surgery, he explained all the procedures he could do and their benefits and risks. I decided to go with replacing a tendon, tightening my ligaments, and cleaning up some arthritis. I opted not to go with the proposed bone graft because I was not willing to take on the risks. Not once did Dr. Caldarella pressure me to change my mind. All through this, he knew that my goal was to be able to run again. Following his instructions and doing months of physical therapy, I was able to do a 2 minute run yesterday and today. I have achieved my goal and I am very glad with the results of the surgery.

Dr. Caldarella recently performed foot surgery on my son. Before the surgery, he went over step by step of what he was going and what my son’s post-op care plan would be. After the surgery, he again was very thorough and even had x-ray photos to show me what he did. He makes sure all your questions are answered before you leave the appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Calarella!

Dr. Caldarella was great to work with. He was very thorough and was able to fix my foot in time for me to be able to walk at my Wedding. I will highly recommend.
