Always willing to listen...He's not a pill pusher type. Some of these negative reviews I strongly believe are addicts of whatever...and he knows that...Is why he refuses various refills etc. People in general think that just because you pay to go see a doctor that you are """entitled """ to walkout with a prescription for whatever...Thats not how good ethical doctors practice. Wait times in my experience there and others there from 5 - 45 mins...many times Ive come in and was seen in minutes...My avg visit time is usually 30+ minutes. My 1st visit he requested to come back in a month....Then the next few visits were every 2 months. Now Im going every 3 months. And I feel great...sleeping better all night long...stress and anxiety have plummeted to nearly nothing.... NOTE: If you're an addict of whatever just wanting pills or what you """think""" you need or just """want"""...GO ELSEWHERE.

I have been a patient of dr. Calenzani for 3 years. On multiple occasions, the dr does not call in prescriptions in a timely manner. On one of the occasions, the receptionist told me multiple times they would call them in AND call me back, neither happened. When a person is on mental health medication they can not just stop these meds abruptly. I had given them enough notice before I ran out and still after 2 weeks of waiting I wound up inpatient at a mental health facility. They expect the patient to jump thru hoops and they are not to be held accountable for their lack of being a practicing psychiatrist. Just from stuff I have witnessed firsthand, the only positive reviews you are seeing are from patients that are on controlled substances that he gladly will shell out. He does not make a conscious effort to take his patients off of meds that they do not need. He would rather mass prescribe medication that he knows will keep people hooked and still coming in.

Worst psychiatrist. Everything went well in the beginning for the first two appointments, and after that he refused to return any of my calls. I went without my medication for 4 weeks before I finally asked my PCP to take over my prescriptions. He finally told me a month later THROUGH A TEXT that he could no longer refill my prescriptions. Extremely unprofessional. There is no excuse for such callous, blasé behavior — especially from a licensed psychiatrist to a patient.

Dr. Calenzani has been my doctor for over 3 years. I have always found him to be tremendously professional, caring, kind, great listener and at all times giving me his complete attention. No matter how hectic his schedule may be he assures you are his most important patient. He offers life tools to insure a much better conclusion at each visit. He does not dismiss you because time runs out and to go on to the next patient. He is truly one of the greatest doctors I have ever worked with. I worked in medical sales more many years and have met thousands of doctors in the process. Having said this I would rate him in the top 5 in my 6 state area.

He doesn't listen to his patients and doesn't seem to give a care. The wait time is always at least 45 minutes or longer. Very rude man.

Been seeing him for 10 + years. He is a straight up guy. Wouldn't want to go to any other shrink.

Great doc spends time with you but you need to be patient with his office. call backs are hard to get and appointment changes are difficult too but there is only 2 women who work his office and he has a ton of patients.

Dr talks to my son and also gives him practical advice . Listen to his parents, show proper respect. Always asks him about school, peer relationships , how he is getting along with his siblings. Even keeps track of any weight gain . Spoke to him even about proper diet and excercise . We have never had to wait more than 15 or 20 mins and we drive an hour to each visit one way. His receptionist is a sweetheart !!
