If I could give him a 0 rating I would. I was sent to him for a work comp re-evaluation for a shoulder injury I received when getting my work required flu shot. The injury happened over a year prior, and I had some treatment covered by work comp, but my issues never completely resolved. I have multiple medical reports over that year stating that I was still having issues but that I was going to wait it out and hope the steroid injection would eventually resolve it completely. The Doctor I was seeing for my shoulder treatment was not a doctor that work comp provided, I choose my own. I was required to see a work comp provided provider to be able to continue treatment. Dr. Carlson agreed with me at my evaluation with him about the ongoing shoulder issues from the vaccine, but then wrote a completely different report to send to work comp. I am no longer covered by work comp for my work related injury (have never had an issue with my shoulder before this) so now I have to pay for any… future treatment. I don’t know how these providers sleep at night knowing they are hurting innocent people.

He is not a good doctor

This guy is nothing but a paid workman's comp. hack ! All he had me do is move my head a little bit and then sent off I was all healed ! I can't even move my head !!! This guy needs his license taken away !

This doctor is nothing but a work comp hack. I really don't know how this man sleeps at night. He lies about absolutely everything that is going on with you. I really honestly do not know how these doctors like this keep a license. all he is worried about is getting his $1,500 he gets per person for spending 5 minutes with you.

This quack will hopefully lose his license after the mn medical board hears the recording of the IME this quack did,also the judge likes my recordings.This quack is a joke and has no knowledge of medical conditions and what it effects.Said on recording there was no reason for not having surgery and it was warranted.Then in his report said it was caused by other issues.I guess my recording tells the truth.

I found this doctor exactly what i needed to hear. Not a quick reply to have surgery as a quick fix but to first try PT for evaluation. I felt he listened well and was understanding of my problem. I was helped with PT with less pain. I would highly recommend this doctor.
